Join us for our inaugural 9-day mountain bike adventure on two wheels through beautiful Nicaragua. We will ride through several different eco-climates including the small pueblos in the highlands, colonial Granada, island country of Ometepe, coffee fields of Mombacho Volcano, and the white sands of the Pacific coast. You will be pampered and enlightened from the time we pick you up at the airport, to the time you fly back home with memories to last a lifetime.
$2,200. Your registration fee includes all transport to and from airport, daily shuttles, support vehicle, family style breakfast and dinner, snacks and refreshments during the day, deluxe accommodations, knowledgeable guide, and cultural excursions. Gratuities for guides not included.
Itinerary:
Thursday February 13th – Pick up at MGA airport, transport to Las Nupes
14th _ Morning briefing, assemble bike, ride to San Rafael
15th – Ride to San Marcos, Pueblo Market, lodging at Shi Sha Hotel
16th – Ride from Granada, or ride around Laguna De Opoyo, colonial nightlife, lodging and yoga at Shi Shah.
17th – Ride to Mombacho Volcano, stay at Mombacho Lodge, coffee tour or canopy tour
18th – Ride to San Jorge, Ferry on Lake Nicaragua, Ride to Ometepe lodge
19th – Ride around Ometepe and Maderas Volcano, or rest day, cultural excursion, waterfall, fishing
20th – Ride to San Juan Del Sur, stay at Pelican Eyes, yoga on beach
21st _ Ride to Playa Iguana, or cultural excursion, sailboat, surfing, relax, stay at Pelican Eyes again or transport to Managua, stay in Managua.
Saturday 22nd – Fly home, or fly home on 23rd. (day and night of 22nd lodging not included)
