Crested Butte Mountain Resort presents the 4th annual Wildflower Rush, known for its spectacular mountain scenery and the camaraderie that takes place each evening as the racers enjoy a post-race meal and festivities on the Gothic deck overlooking Mt Crested Butte. Beautiful camping and the unique historical feel of Crested Butte complement a memorable weekend of bike racing, group rides, kids races, exhibitors, awards ceremonies, prize raffles, music, food and fun. Bring the whole family and enjoy summer in the high country on your bicycle!

Events:
Saturday June 26th:
In the Crested Butte tradition, the exhilarating Wildflower Rush Cross Country Race will delight riders with a 9-mile mountain circuit winding around and over the ski hill through waist high wildflowers and fun singletrack.

Sunday June 27th:
The Mt Crested Butte Downhill lights up the mountain with fast trails, open ski runs, and techy wooded sections. Participants from last year speak fondly of this course and its demanding characteristics.

Pre-Registration:
Register online at active.com. Online pre-registration cut-off is midnight on Wednesday, June 23rd. Pre-registered mail-in entries must be received by Monday, June 21st.

Race Site Registration:
Registration and check-in will take place in the Gothic Building at Mt Crested Butte on Friday from 8 am to 8 pm, and during the day on Saturday. Check Schedule for specific times. Racers must register AT LEAST ONE HOUR PRIOR TO START and please note NO DAY OF DOWNHILL REGISTRATION. On-site registration fee of $10 will be assessed for on-site registrations.

Lodging:
Discounted rooms will be available through Crested Butte Mountain Resort at the Grand Lodge Crested Butte at a special racer rate. Condomimiums also available. Racers mention the Wildflower Rush to receive discount. Call 1-800-544-8448 for reservations.

Hot Tunes / Cold Beer
Enjoy the action of the day from the deck of the Gothic Building where you can view the exciting racing while soaking up the mountain sun.

Important Norba Information:
NORBA no longer offers one-day licenses. Non-NORBA members will pay an additional $5 when registering. If you are an expert level rider or higher you must purchase a year license. NORBA has broken Juniors into three categories, which include Junior Beginner, Junior Sport and Junior Expert, please register accordingly.

First Aid
First Aid will be located at the base area. In addition there will be course marshals and medics at various checkpoints on the course. Hydration fluids and food will be available at the finish area. Restroom facilities are also at the start/finish area.

Awards:
Results will be posted at the race venue as soon as the competition is completed. The awards ceremonies will take place at the base area in the Gothic Building. Cash will be paid to the pro and semi-pro categories, and awards given three deep in all categories. You must pick-up your award at the award ceremony to receive it.
