Warriors Cycling presents
Colorado State Championship Races and
the Breckenridge 100
The Rocky Mountain Endurance Rankings are compiled from two races. The USA Cycling State Championship designation means that the top-10 places in each category receive points that will be accumulated from both races to award the Colorado State XC Champions at Bear Creek.
These races include categories for all ages and abilities, and even a Relay Team category for 2 or 3 racers who want to form a team and join the fun but aren’t taking the racing so seriously. The day includes award ceremonies, expo village, free kid’s race and a nascar style pit zone for spectators to watch the hot racing action.
The RME Junior League showcases the amazing young athletes in middle and high school. We offer five different junior age groups from ages 9 to 18. Custom award plaques are given for the top-3 placings in each age group; and the races offer valuable National qualification points for those kids wanting to compete in the National Championships.
The series kicks off May 4th with the Ridgeline Rampage; a rippin’ circuit race around Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock, Colorado. Racers then head to Lakewood on May 18th to Battle the Bear at Bear Creek Lake Park.
Following the RME Series will be the iconic test of endurance in Colorado – the National Ultra Series Race, Breckenridge 100. There are three distances available at this event – The Ultra, the Marathon 60, or the XC 32. Or enter a two or three-person team relay category. All races will begin and end in historic downtown Breckenridge at Carter Park; featuring three spectacular loops through Summit County’s high alpine singletrack.
